It is very simple to tilt your phone and switch it from landscape to portrait mode. As long as the object that it’s wrapped around or rested on isn’t moving, your tripod isn’t going to move either. This is where most cheaper units fail.
I use this tripod with my iPhone 15 Pro, but it will also accommodate the greater size and weight of the Max models.
