“Special Person” (Persona Especial) interviews can serve as the backbone of any level class from novice to advanced. This is hands-down the most effective and compelling way that I know to personalize learning and acquisition in the world language classroom. Bryce Hedstrom is the hands-down guru of this process. Finding out someone’s age, where they live, what they like to eat, etc. are important things to know and can get us quality reps on important structures, but there comes a point in time where you want to know what animal someone would be and why or who they would like to meet from any point in history, right?
